**About the Role**
We are seeking a Practice Assistant to provide administrative support to our Deal Advisory team. In this role you will be collaborating with Partners, Directors, Managers and the boarder team to ensure they meet the needs of our clients and internal BDO requirements.
**About the Team**
Our team includes Corporate Finance, Business Restructuring and Debt Advisory. We provide advisory services to clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, valuations, due diligence, corporate and personal insolvency, special situations and distressed debt advisory.
**Key responsibilities**:
**Proactive support to Partners**
- Screening and redirecting calls, taking messages as required
- Scheduling, calendar management, room bookings and travel arrangements
**General administration support to the team**
- Copying and archiving
- Banking deposits and deliveries
- Incoming mail scanning and distribution, preparation of outgoing mail
- Organising internal and external meetings, training sessions and events
- Generating and formatting correspondence, reports and spreadsheets
- Processing expenses and supplier invoices
**Client Administration**
- Attending to onboarding processes in accordance with the firm's risk and quality management policies
- Maintaining data integrity in the firm's CRM, including client, contact and referrer management, and opportunity tracking.
**About You**
- Previous experience as a Practice Assistant in a professional environment
- Proficient in MS Office suite, and the capacity to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of liaising confidently with Partners, staff and clients
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise them effectively while maintaining accuracy, ensuring deadlines are met
- Display a keen sense of initiative and meticulous attention to detail.
- Possess a proactive and adaptable attitude, and a commitment to exceptional client service
