We are seeking an experienced professional to play a key role in supporting our Health & Safety technical advice, management system guidance and practical support to leaders and staff across the business unit. Reporting to the Zero Harm Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
**Job Responsibilities**
This position offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:- Facilitating the development of a Zero Harm leadership culture within the business unit,- Supporting delivery and implementation of the Zero Harm Strategy and ensuring performance objectives/outcomes are achieved within agreed timeframes,- Working closely with Line of Business leaders, contract managers and employees to ensure understanding and adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements,- Conducting professional and timely investigations of incidents within business areas or leading complex investigations utilising ICAM or equivalent methodology.
**Key Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Practical experience within a Workplace Health & Safety or OHS related field,
- A formal work health and safety qualification (Diploma or Degree qualified in relevant discipline),
- Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology,
- Strong skills/experience in conducting risk assessments and verifying site safety management plans,
- Conducting WHS/OHS management system and/or environmental management system audits, within the past 2 years. A Defence Security clearance is also required.
- Above all, you will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
