Your new role
Reporting to a Senior Research Scientist, you'll:
* Assist with the implementation of specialised manure, soil and pasture research, including novel treatments for manure, anaerobic digestion research, gas emissions measurement at different scales in the laboratory, as well as from plot and paddock experiments.
* Assist in research that will include implementing complex sampling and analysis protocols and data collection, sample preparation according to specific criteria, as well as data analysis.
* Assist in reporting on the research, particularly with the preparation of scientific publications and other written reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll have:
* Degree in Science, Agricultural Science, Environmental Science or an equivalent science qualification
* Experience in laboratory analyses, sample preparation and analysis, data and statistical analysis and report and paper writing
* Excellent record-keeping and organisational skills, along with strong oral and written communication skills
