Working across several business units, this role, Senior Category Specialist, will help drive a strategic, value-focused approach to corporate procurement while supporting the uplift of processes, capability, and commercial outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesChampion a national, organisation-wide view of procurementAnalyse spend data and evaluate supplier arrangementsLead sourcing activities and provider selectionInfluence procurement planning and decision-makingBuild trusted relationships across internal stakeholdersSupport supplier relationship managementIdentify and deliver quick commercial winsChallenge and improve processes within a transforming functionSkills, Experience and QualificationsStrong category management experience, ideally spanning areas such as Corporate Services, Labour Hire, Professional & Consultancy Services (including Legal), PPE/Uniforms, or Non-Operational MaterialsStrategic and commercially strong mindsetDemonstrated experience and skill in building strong, trusted, and influential relationships across business units resulting in positive outcomesComfortable working across national business groupsExperience in fleet categories is desirable but not essentialAble to thrive in an environment undergoing significant changeCreative thinker who can operate outside traditional procurement processesDiversity, Equity & Inclusion at HudsonHudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
