About you

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2-4 years PQE Associate to join our growing corporate team. This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

To be successful and thrive in this role you will have the following skills

* at least 2+ years of experience in a well-regarded corporate practise, you will have been involved in a range of public M&A and/or capital market transactions
* the ability to demonstrate exceptional drafting skills and an eye for detail
* strong ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
* a demonstrated skillset to manage timeframes and proactively manage priorities within a team
* an ability to communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)

Your role

We are looking for an Associate with experience in public M&A and/or capital markets, interested in working closely with a team of prominent corporate partners, working on a broad range of matters encompassing:

* public M&A (takeovers and schemes of arrangement)
* equity capital markets (IPOs and other capital raisings)
* private M&A
* compliance with the ASX Listing Rules and Corporations Act
* corporate governance

You will interact with clients directly and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial contracts with access to partners in an open and collaborative working environment.
