The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to patients and their families, supporting them through the emotional and practical challenges associated with illness, injury, and hospitalisation.
The successful candidate will bring experience in mental health settings, along with a strong commitment to collaborative practice and continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver psychosocial support to clients experiencing mental health challengesCollaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environmentContribute to care planning, advocacy, group facilitation, and recovery-oriented practices
The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:
Bachelor of Social Work (or equivalent)Eligible for full membership of Australian Association of Social WorkersDemonstrated ability to utilise a variety of social work interventionsDemonstrated experience in medical social work practiceKnowledge of community resources services to meet patient needsDemonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently as requiredWillingness to uphold the Ramsay Way core valuesExperience in Rehabilitation and/or Mental Health highly desirable.
Essential Criteria:
Tertiary qualification in Social WorkEligibility for membership with the AASW (or relevant registration body)Demonstrated experience in mental health settingsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
Remuneration: PLEASE ADVISE
On offer is hourly base salary of $40.75 - $52.14 + casual loading + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
