Personal Banking Advisor - Wellington Centre, Hobart. Permanent full time opportunity at Westpac’s Hobart branch. Welcome customers, understand their needs and provide tailored banking solutions. Utilize product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals in-person and over the phone, and refer them to specialised Banking teams when necessary. This is a branch-based role with hours across Monday to Friday. 
Responsibilities 
Welcome customers to Westpac and engage in meaningful conversations to uncover needs and provide tailored banking solutions. 
Utilise product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals in-person and over the phone. 
Refer customers to specialised Banking teams when necessary. 
Meet sales and referral targets where applicable. 
Handle financial transactions accurately with numerical capability; proficient in cash handling. 
Support customers in learning about Westpac products and services; commit to delivering excellent customer service. 
What you need 
Customer service and sales experience, ideally in a customer-facing or phone-based role with experience working to targets. 
Resilience and ability to stay calm in challenging situations. 
Comfortable working towards sales/referral targets and calling customers over the phone. 
Numerical capability; proficiency in cash handling and financial transaction accuracy. 
Energetic personality with genuine passion for helping people. 
Willingness to learn and adapt to new banking procedures and technologies.
