Design Manager Job
AECOM is expanding its Water Infrastructure group due to significant contract awards in Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a Design Manager to join the team, based in either Sydney or Newcastle office.
The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary project delivery teams and work closely with end clients and contractors. Key responsibilities include:
* Leveraging water infrastructure expertise, leadership skills, and coordination abilities to engage and guide project teams effectively.
* Ensuring projects are delivered within quality, time, and budget constraints.
* Collaborating with leaders across the ANZ team for project delivery and assisting with resourcing and business initiatives.
Key qualifications and experience include:
* A proven track record in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to outstanding quality standards.
* Substantial experience in design management, overseeing planning, design, and execution of projects.
* Experience in water infrastructure, including pumps, pipes, or treatment systems, as well as exposure to key water infrastructure clients in NSW.
* Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Able to understand how various systems, processes, and stakeholders interconnect, ensuring seamless integration and a bigger-picture approach.
* A relevant tertiary qualification.
