Overview Continuing, full-time role of Professor in Education/Arts with a three (3) year, part-time (0.5 FTE) leadership assignment as Associate Dean, Partnerships and Innovation.

Provide strategic academic leadership to strengthen external relationships.
Join a nationally and internationally recognised leader in research impact and teacher education.
Drive business development and product innovation while ensuring alignment with jurisdictional priorities and national strategies.
Foster partnerships that enhance the faculty's reputation and reach nationally and internationally.
Deliver against agreed Faculty education sector and industry partnership priorities, and drive collaborative development of new products related to award and non-award courses and research.
Broker and support cross-university partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance research, teaching and commercialisation agendas.
Role details The Associate Dean, Partnerships and Innovation operates within the Faculty of Education And Arts. The role provides strategic academic leadership to strengthen relationships with school systems (Catholic, independent, public), government agencies, and industry partners, supporting business development and product innovation. The role ensures alignment with jurisdictional priorities and national strategies and engages in teaching within their discipline. The assignment is a temporary part-time (0.5 FTE) role for three (3) years, renewable based on performance and underpinned by a continuing academic E level appointment, dependent on the experience, expertise and capability of the successful candidate.
Requirements
Experience in strategic academic leadership and in building external academic and industry partnerships.
Ability to broker cross-university partnerships and support faculty colleagues across schools, institutes and centres to develop sustained partnerships.
Engagement in teaching within the discipline.
