**About the Opportunity**
As the Clinical Quality and Risk Manager you will work closely with Contract Management, the Health Services team, the Health Services Director and Serco's Justice & Immigration Clinical Governance Committee to provide expert advice, assistance and support in all matters relating to clinical risk, incident and complaints management and quality healthcare including accreditation requirements. You will work out of one of our main Serco office's where interstate travel will be required.
Your knowledge of Clinical Governance (patient safety, accreditation and quality improvement) and awareness of the International Risk Management Standard will play a pivotal role in maintaining our commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
**What you'll be doing**
- Managing clinical incidents, clinical risk management and administration
- Effectively develop and maintain a Quality Plan in line with local policy, standards, and jurisdiction requirements
- Actively develop, implement, and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Manage overall risk and act as a key point of contact with key internal stakeholders and State Department of Justice
**About you - your ideal skills & experience**
- A Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or relevant tertiary qualification in health/clinical experience and/or experience with similar capacity
- Post graduate qualification in Quality and Safety (Desirable)
- Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar related role
- Experience of clinical practice improvement, accreditation frameworks and the implementation of safety and quality systems.
