About the Role
The Grounds Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all school buildings, facilities, and grounds are safe, functional, and well presented to support a positive learning environment. The role involves completing general repairs, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and coordinating with contractors for specialised work when required. With a proactive and organised approach, the Grounds Maintenance Officer identifies issues early, prioritises tasks effectively, and maintains accurate records to support compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position plays a key role in the smooth daily operation of the school by ensuring classrooms, outdoor areas, and shared spaces remain clean, secure, and in optimal condition for students, staff, and visitors.
