About the role

As a Ranger you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of compliance and enforcement related tasks, these include (but are not limited to):

* Investigating breaches of development consent,
* Investigating incidents of pollution, illegal advertising, abandoned vehicles,
* Investigating unlawful use of public land and compliance or safety issues relating to construction sites

Remuneration

$71, $84, % Superannuation % loading + Operational Vehicle Leaseback Scheme

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

1. Knowledge of compliance and enforcement matters in a Local Government context.
2. HSC or equivalent work experience in a relevant industry.
3. Ability to read, understand, interpret, apply and/or enforce legislation, policies and guidelines
4. Ability to carry out tasks and processes, involving the collection of information from a variety of sources, for use in determining and applying a suitable course of action.
5. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including demonstrated conflict resolution, consultation, negotiation and customer service skills.
