Dining by James Viles (One Hat) is a signature restaurant of Park Hyatt Sydney. We are looking for a Restaurant Manager eager to further their career with Australia's award-winning hotel.
We seek passionate individuals focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences, ready to bring their management skills and engaging personalities to our signature restaurant.
About the Role
1. Ensure the successful operation of The Dining Room in accordance with brand standards.
2. Collaborate closely with other Outlet Managers to support overall hotel success and guest satisfaction.
3. Maintain positive interactions with guests and colleagues, fostering good relationships.
4. Handle guest inquiries courteously and efficiently; report complaints or problems to supervisors and follow up with guests.
5. Possess comprehensive knowledge of duties and tasks in the work area, demonstrating standard operations.
6. Lead the team to uphold high service and quality standards, supervising staff performance.
7. Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new colleagues.
8. Develop team skills through appropriate training, coaching, and mentoring.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
* Current NSW RSA Competency Card
* Sufficient experience in a fine dining or similar environment; experience in a Hatted restaurant is desirable
* Strong food and beverage service skills
* Excellent knowledge of wines and beverages, with strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with wine styles, grape varieties, and other beverages
