BMI Resource Recovery is a leading resource recovery company operating across Southeast Queensland. We are committed to minimising waste to landfill and maximising recycling initiatives through responsible, innovative waste management practices.
We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable Concreter to join our team at Redbank Plains. This role offers consistent work, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to transition to full‐time for the right person.
About the Role
In this hands-on concreting position, you will be working exclusively with returned concrete to support the construction and maintenance of internal roadways on site. While concreting is the core task, you may be asked to assist with other duties as required.
This is a Casual role with full‐time hours available and the potential to move into a permanent position.

This is a Casual position with the possibility of leading to a Full-time position.
Hours may look like the below example:
* 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday
* 38 hours + overtime
* Ongoing work with an industry‐established company
* Supportive, safety‐focused environment
Key Responsibilities
* Concreting using returned concrete
* Boxing, pouring, and screeding
* Assisting with the construction of internal roadways
* Performing additional site tasks as directed by your supervisor
About You
We are seeking candidates who are self‐motivated, reliable, and capable of working autonomously. The successful applicant will:
* Have reliable transport to our Redbank Plains site each workday
* Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods (approx. 8 hours)
* Be comfortable with repetitive tasks
* Be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
* Be confident working independently with minimal supervision
* Be able to pass a pre‐employment medical assessment
