About the Role
Downer is seeking skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Technicians, or Fitters to join our team across Pinkenba, Swanbank, and Brisbane, QLD. This hybrid role offers a mix of workshop and field-based responsibilities, maintaining and repairing heavy plant machinery and trucks across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy plant machinery and trucks
* Provide breakdown support and fault diagnostics in the field
* Ensure all work meets Downer's safety and operational standards
* Collaborate with a skilled team while also working independently
What You'll Bring
* Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
* Strong hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
* Experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
* Auto electrical experience (highly regarded)
* HR and Forklift licences (desirable)
* A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
