Procurement Specialist Opportunity
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Procurement Specialist to join our team.
Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of contract creation, review, and amendments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts based on both internal and supplier scope of works, variations, deeds of novation, & renewals
* Identify and mitigate risk
* Ensure all legal and contractual matters are addressed appropriately
* Monitor contract performance and compliance
* Maintain the contract register and provide strong contract administration support
* Provide guidance on contract-related issues to internal stakeholders
* Manage logistics, hospitality, professional services, construction, and IT contracts
Qualifications:
* University degree in business, law, or commerce
Experience:
* Working knowledge of commercial and general legal risks, terminology, and principles (preferably within the procurement sector)
Skills:
* Ability to prepare contracts and drive contract management processes to deliver contracts on time and with high levels of accuracy
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate into business outcomes
* Effective negotiation and communication skills
