Community Support Worker- Geelong & Surrounding Areas
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Support Workers to assist clients living in Geelong and surrounding areas. This role requires a compassionate individual who can provide high-quality care and support.
Call on Clare offers a range of home‑based support services, enabling our clients to live with dignity and independence in the comfort and security of their own homes. We are a private provider of tailor‑made services including in‑home care, palliative care, nursing care, and a range of other support services in Melbourne. We have rigorously vetted experienced nurses and carers who share Call on Clare's core values of Compassion, Quality, and Trust. We are available across the greater Melbourne and Geelong region.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care including showering and dressing.
* Provide respite and social support in the home and familiar settings.
* Assist clients with exercises, activities, and community participation.
* Assist with the preparation of meals, including shopping trips.
* Transport clients to doctors' appointments and social outings.
* Become familiar with the care of clients and recognise changes in their conditions, escalating observations and concerns.
* Provide dementia care and palliative care.
We have a variety of services with regular ongoing bookings for AM, PM, ND, and weekends. Great pay rate for weekend shifts, and we are flexible with working hours.

About you
You are a dedicated worker, located in Geelong who enjoys working in the community to support people meet their health goals and objectives. You are also passionate about caring in the home, then we are looking for you. You have excellent communication skills, are caring, compassionate, and a great team player. If you are an experienced carer or a nursing student, we encourage you to apply.
What you'll need
* Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Ageing Support, Diploma in Nursing or a nursing student who has completed the placement in aged care.
* Minimum of one year experience in a similar care industry.
* Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach to your work.
* Computer literate and able to use MS Office, email, and any app‑based rostering systems (on smartphone).
* Current First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling Certificate.
* 3 doses of Covid vaccine.
* National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
* Victorian Driver's Licence and own transport with comprehensive insurance.
* Working with Children check.
* NDIS Screening Check.
* Medication Administration Module.
