3.5 Star rating Motel located in the heart of Maryborough with a selection of comfortable accommodation, with 13 motel rooms and a pool.
Close to hospital, schools and shopping centre, with supermarket, cinema etc and public transport close by.
We are seeking a couple or a motivated and reliable person to lead a small team and manage the motel.
The successful applicants will be required to undertake the day-to-day duties, whilst working closely with the management team. The role requires you be required to live on-site in a two bedroom residence (shared lodge and kitchen), with subsidised rent and where all utility bills will be paid by the business.
The role will require you to be available for shared shifts per week, across a 7-day roster cycle and will include weekend work.
Income of servicing breakfast and running the onsite shop can be salary incentive.
Preferred applicant will require experience in.
* Extensive front office and reservations experience (e.g., Guestpoint or similar)
* Excellent customer service, guest management and satisfaction in the Motel Industry.
* Ability to troubleshoot and solve guest related problems in a calm manner.
* Basic property maintenance, having the ability to do minor repairs and problem solve property operational issues.
* General operations, administration and office skills.
* Excellent telephone manner and professional communication skills.
* Professional presentation & friendly manner
* Broad level of computer literacy (MS)
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will also possess the following skills & attributes:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Experience in motel / hotel management.
