This role
* Provide accurate and technical IR/ER advice to clients on performance management, misconduct, termination, personal illness, discrimination/harassment, adverse actions, litigation, award interpretation and industrial disputes.
* Complete compliance audits for clients, recommending award coverage and HR compliance improvements.
* Raise complex/high‐risk matters for assistance with Senior Workplace Advisors or Team Leaders (e.g., termination outside probation, redundancies, serious misconduct).
* Manage high‐volume calls and email enquiries, providing calm, professional support and risk analysis.
* Contribute to brand and client knowledge base by creating content for blogs, webinars and client guides.
* Participate in ongoing department projects for process improvements and award summaries.
* Liaise with legal team for complex disputes, claims and investigations.
* Provide guidance to sales and marketing to support growth of the advisory product.
* Champion improvement initiatives within the HR Advisory team using problem‐solving tools.
* Ensure advice is only given to authorised contacts in Salesforce and update Salesforce, Zendesk and the wider team.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of advice with call notes or client emails.
This role can be based anywhere in Australia.
Who you are
* 1‐2 years experience at an HR Advisor level (or equivalent).
* Qualifications in HR, Law, Business or similar fields (preferable).
* Australian Employment Knowledge.
* Strong ability to advise on Industrial Relations matters and award interpretation.
* Good time management, attention to detail and customer service skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Competent in managing and influencing stakeholders while advising on a range of HR matters.
* Proficient in learning and using different softwares, systems, tools and technologies (Salesforce, Zendesk, Employment Hero).
* Customer focused and ability to build strong on‐going relationships.
* Experience working collaboratively as part of a global and remote team environment.
