Join our dynamic team as an Executive Assistant and become an integral part of our mission to celebrate and promote First Nations arts and culture. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to our esteemed Executive Director, ensuring seamless operations.
- Craft reports and briefings on behalf of the Executive Director for inclusion in Council papers and publications, amplifying First Nations voices.
- Play a pivotal role in our First Nations Arts Strategy Panel by providing secretariat services and ensuring timely distribution of essential papers.
- Support the management of First Nations Arts and Culture projects led by the Executive Director, contributing to their success.
- Keep our digital records in top-notch shape, maintaining accurate data and compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with the First Nations Arts and Culture team to envision the future of the sector and identify exciting opportunities for growth.
- Requirements:
- Possess deep knowledge of First Nations culture and protocols, establishing trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Showcase your expertise in providing top-tier administrative support to senior management or Executive-level staff.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at meeting deadlines and managing changing priorities with finesse.
- Exemplify discretion, confidentiality, and initiative when interacting with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail, with a knack for identifying and solving problems.
- Exhibit advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Office 365.
- Communicate eloquently, both in writing and verbally, fostering positive interactions with diverse stakeholders.
- Shine as a team player, coordinating seamlessly within your team and across departments.

- You'll report directly to the Executive Director of First Nations Arts and Culture located in Pyrmont - Hybrid WFH environment
- Enjoy a competitive hourly rate of $52.29, plus loading (excluding superannuation).
