Your gig:
* Reporting to the Experience Manager, ensure sales targets are met and member satisfaction in all interactions.
* Understand each prospect's objectives, buying criteria and decision‐making processes, and build genuine long‐term relationships.
* Actively generate leads through inbound inquiries, free guest passes and community engagement; attend networking events and promote Virgin Active's unique social wellness offering.
* Conduct one‐on‐one consultations and club tours to understand prospects' wellness goals and introduce them to Virgin Active's premium offerings; tailor the sales presentation to highlight services (fitness, group classes, wellness programs, community engagement) that support their specific needs.
* Drive membership conversions by articulating the benefits of Virgin Active's holistic wellness approach and social community; offer tailored membership packages, handle objections and close the sale while ensuring prospects understand long‐term value.
* Proactively follow up with new members after sign‐up, engage them in their wellness journey and ensure familiarity with all services offered, from group fitness classes to personal training, workshops and recovery programs.
* Maintain administrative processes to ensure seamless administration.
* Advocate safety and maintain a safe environment for members and the team.
* Provide exceptional service that exceeds expectations, including surprises that delight members.
All about you:
* More than one year of relevant experience and flexibility to work a non‐traditional schedule.
* Experience working with a high‐profile consumer brand and exceeding performance targets; retail or hospitality sector experience a plus.
* People‐focused, enjoy learning needs and delivering personalized solutions; patient, level‐headed, cool under pressure.
* Self‐assured, attentive listener, eloquent speaker, comfortable communicating at all levels, authentic, and trusted.
* Driven, perceptive, problem‐solver, persuasive, unflustered, time‐management skills, consistently meets targets.
* Can‐do approach, quick thinker, comfortable with ambiguity, adapts to change, continually improves and helps members find what they need.
