The role involves working with allied health professionals to provide holistic care to clients and their families in rural Queensland.
* Conduct functional assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for clients with varying needs.
* Provide education and guidance to carers, teachers, and employers on adapting environments to maximise client performance.
* Collaborate with other disciplines to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Senior responsibilities will include:
* Providing clinical direction for the Occupational Therapy Team.
* Implementing and reviewing clinical procedures, policies, and ensuring accreditation standards are met.
* Organising Occupational Therapy student placement activities.
* Providing clinical mentoring support and education to the Occupational Therapy cohort and wider health professional team.
