About the Role
Our Beef City Feedlot team are currently recruiting an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the team in a full-time role. Reporting to the Feedlot Manager, the position of Maintenance Supervisor is a key senior position within the Beef City Feedlot Team and offers an opportunity for the successful applicant to demonstrate their skills and abilities as a Leader within the Maintenance Team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing maintenance at Beef City Feedlot and assisting the maintenance program at Mungindi Feedlot (as required)
Coordinating teams and workflow to ensure that operational priorities are identified and deadlines are met
Supervising the quality and work performance of the Feedlot Maintenance team and contractors
Ongoing development and oversight of scheduled and preventative maintenance programs
Purchasing and ordering of spare parts and materials as required for planned tasks
Operating within budget constraints
Inventory management including auditing, stocktaking and cost control
Staff management, development and training in a positive and proactive manner
Monitoring and ensuring team compliance with JBS Australia policies, including WHS, HR, QA, Animal Welfare and Environmental obligations
