The Digital Experience Practice Front‑End Developer is responsible for designing and building high‑quality, scalable, and accessible digital user interfaces across Toyota Finance Australia's digital platforms, primarily for our Fleet and Commercial Business.
This role is strongly front‑end focused, with a primary emphasis on React‑based development and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service. The developer will work closely with UX, Solution Design, and back‑end teams to deliver performant, responsive, and user‑centric digital experiences aligned with enterprise standards and modern engineering practices.
12-month contract
How you'll make an impact
* Build and maintain front‑end components and user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks.
* Develop and integrate AEM components, templates, and client‑side libraries using AEM as a Cloud Service.
* Implement responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces across desktop and mobile devices.
* Collaborate with UX designers to translate designs, wireframes, and prototypes into high‑quality front‑end code.
* Work closely with back‑end developers and solution designers to integrate APIs and services.
* Contribute to code quality through peer reviews, adherence to coding standards, and automated testing.
* Support digital platforms through maintenance, defect resolution, and continuous improvement.
* Assist with troubleshooting front‑end and AEM‑related issues prior to escalation to Adobe or external partners.
* Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery and estimation activities.
Your attributes
* A front end specialist with 5+ years' experience in enterprise digital environments.
* Highly skilled in React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and front end performance optimisation.
* Experienced with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service.
* Confident working with component‑based architectures, build pipelines, and client‑side libraries.
* Knowledgeable in WCAG accessibility standards and responsive design principles.
* Comfortable working in cross‑functional Agile teams
* Experience with AEM Cloud Manager, Adobe Admin Console, or CI/CD pipelines.
* Familiarity with REST APIs and integration patterns.
* Exposure to Git and automated testing frameworks.
* Background in regulated or large‑scale enterprise environments
