Electrical Technician
Location: Tamworth, NSW
This role involves maintenance, repair, upgrade and installation tasks on electrical equipment in the water and wastewater directorate at TRC. The technician will communicate with operators and other tradespeople to fault find and resolve electrical problems and work closely with other electrical technicians and apprentices.
Responsibilities
* Maintain, repair, upgrade, and install electrical equipment in the water and wastewater directorate.
* Fault find and resolve electrical problems in coordination with operators and other tradespeople.
* Collaborate with other Electrical Technicians and Apprentices.
Qualifications
* Trade Certificate – Electrician, Electrical Fitter, or related discipline.
* Electrician's licence.
* Valid driver's licence.
* WHS General Induction for Construction Work.
* Immunisations against Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus and Q Fever (or willingness to undergo).
Salary and Benefits
Base salary up to $80,515.71 per annum plus award allowances, available overtime, and 12% superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and value to the organisation. Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
