ABOUT THE BRANCH & SECTION The Digital Services Branch manages the operation of ICT systems supporting the SDO-ERP and PEMS platform, which collectively provide corporate services to client agencies and parliamentarians. Responsibilities include the development, maintenance and support of these ICT systems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Service Management capability. The ERP Services section team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support and development of the ERP Financial, Human Resource and Business Intelligence Reporting Information system. The Test Team ensures the department's ERP enterprise software and applications perform as specified. The team provide services for system, integration and regression testing across both projects and business as usual. The team also provides UAT Co-ordination. The key duties of the position include THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a Senior SAP Tester with a passion for testing and who will be highly engaged, motivated, high-level communicator with a very strong team ethic. We are looking to bring in an intelligent, creatively thinking tester who is able to add a voice in shaping and improving the test approaches and processes. This role will suit any SAP Tester with a special interest in improving SAP software and working collaboratively in cross functional development teams. To be successful in the role, you will have: Worked as a Senior SAP Tester on projects and BAU work, with experience undertaking IT application testing, including integration and system testing, ensuring that task performance is within time and budgetary constraints. Have experience in all aspects of the software testing lifecycle, such as test plans, test estimates, comprehensive test cases, complex test data, execution and test reports, based on the analysis of system documentation. Provide input to or work with Team Leads and Managers to develop cost estimates for testing activities. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic team, delivering strategically aligned technology solutions to business priorities, aligning with shared services delivery outcomes. The ability to guide and advise on change management in relation to testing matters. Conduct peer reviews with other members of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure quality of work. Provide status reports on activities and tasks. Ability to manage multiple tasks, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs. Ability to co-ordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
