About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our close-knit team of educators at a vibrant Catholic primary school. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach students in a straight grade, with a focus on Religious Education and supporting the Catholic ethos and faith values of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials that align with the Victorian curriculum
* Establish and maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning, including managing student behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and promoting mutual respect among students
* Design and administer assessments, to evaluate students' understanding and provide timely feedback to students and parents on their progress and areas for improvement
* Provide additional support and assistance to students who require differentiation to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with learning disabilities or English language learners
* Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to share ideas, resources, and strategies for improving student learning outcomes
* Teach Catholic teachings, traditions, and practices in alignment with diocesan or school guidelines, and approved RE programs
* Foster a holistic approach by integrating Catholic values across subjects where appropriate
Requirements:
* Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia
* Must have a valid and up-to-date VIT registration
* Demonstrate previous experience in teaching Primary in Australia/NZ
* Experience working with a Catholic school advantageous
