At the Centre for Non-Violence, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Clinician to join our team. As part of the Safe, Thriving & Connected initiative, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services to adult victim-survivors and their children.
This position requires expertise in trauma-informed therapeutic support using modalities such as EMDR, narrative therapy, and art/play therapy. You will conduct specialised assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Additionally, you will facilitate group programs and individual counselling sessions.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in therapeutic work with adults and children. Strong understanding of feminist principles and the gendered nature of family violence is essential, as well as a commitment to cultural safety and inclusion.
