About the role
We areexcited to announce an exceptional opportunity for internal candidates to applyfor the role of Base and Contract Manager at our Exmouth/ Karratha Base. Thisposition offers a significant career advancement opportunity, allowing theideal candidate to take on a crucial role in managing operations at one of ourkey locations.
Reportingdirectly to the Director of Operations – APAC, you will be instrumental inoverseeing operations, ensuring safety, and effectively managing baseresources. You will possess a strong background in operational management,attention to detail, and proven leadership skills. Responsibilities of the roleinclude:
* Leadthe base team to ensure that work tasks are planned, coordinated and executedas per contract requirements and customer expectations.
* Act as the base-specific contract focal point for thePHI Senior Leadership Team.
* Monitordaily aircraft availability and work with assigned staff and PHI Scheduling toensure daily aircraft assignments meet contract needs.
* Report,investigate, and respond to occurrences, incidents, and accidents involving thebase and/or customer.
* Ensurerecords and reports are maintained for internal and client reporting,completing reports within appropriate timeframes for Director of Operations.
* Monitor contract activities to ensure they areconducted within the contract budget, managing and controlling authorizedexpenditure within agreed budgets
* Managecontract activities to maximise client agreed KPIs.
To be considered for this role,you will need:
* Previous aviation industry experience, preferably in apilot, engineering or operations management function
* Customer facing and contract management experience
* Knowledge of applicable regulations and industrystandards

* Ability to lead and manage a large team.
