Metropolitan South Region is looking for an Intensive Education Case Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive case management services. You will provide essential transition supports and manage educational, intervention, and prevention initiatives aimed at students who are at risk of disengagement, already disengaged, or at risk of becoming involved with the youth justice system. The Intensive Education Case Manager will report directly to the Nominated Manager at the Metropolitan South Regional Office. Your Responsibilities As the Intensive Education Case Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Deliver intensive case management and facilitate behaviour/education interventions for students at risk of disengagement.Work with students, families, principals, and community organisations to design and implement individual support, transition, and behaviour plans.Provide strategic advice through data analysis to strengthen student engagement and improve educational outcomes.Build inclusive and culturally responsive practices for First Nations students, students with disability, and culturally diverse communities. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone with: Strong experience in case management, education support, or youth engagement.Excellent relationship-building skills with families, schools, and service providers.High-level communication and problem-solving abilities. Nice to have It is desirable that our next Intensive Education Case Manager have a: Background in education, social work, or youth justice.Familiarity with Queensland Department of Education policies and procedures.Experience leading change in complex environments.
