**About You**
- You have experience in retail and/or customer service and are looking for a gateway to take the next step in your career.
- You're someone who can strike an insightful conversation with just about everyone, and you are truly motivated by helping other people. You have an uncanny ability to anticipate the needs of your customers and resolve them before they have even had a chance to ask you.
- In your free time, you're scrolling through Pinterest, keeping up to date with the latest design trends - you know you have an eye for stunning designs. You enjoy being surrounded by beautiful and unique materials - which is what you'll be talking about in this role.
**About the Role**
Located in Hindmarsh and reporting to the State Stone Sales Manager, you will add significant value by:
- Visiting architects and interior designers to discuss the projects they are working on, helping them to choose the right type of stone to deliver on their vision
- Hosting those same architects and interior designers along with their end client in the showroom, showcasing beautiful natural stone and materials
- Helping to choose the exact slab that is going to be their unique choice that brings their design to life
- Maintaining the immaculate presentation of the showroom, making sure brochures are replenished and items are fully stocked
- Coordinate sample requests, customer follow-ups, invoicing and orders updates
- Coordinate back office and administrative requirements such as reviewing inventory, processing orders and coordinating customer pickups
- Gain market insight and discuss it collaboratively with colleagues across the stone team
**Selection Criteria**
In order to be successful, you'll ideally bring to this incredible role:
- Previous success in customer service and building relationships
- An interest in design and the ability to learn about, and love, natural stone
