We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Rep to join our dynamic sales team in Campbelltown, New South Wales. In this role you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by actively managing assigned territories, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Call on existing and prospective customers to develop new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.
* Actively monitor and manage assigned territory to maximize sales potential and customer satisfaction.
* Troubleshoot customer issues, providing timely solutions and escalating when necessary.
* Liaise effectively with internal departments, including transport, accounts, production, and administration, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
* Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers where required.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-ups in the company systems.
* Prepare and submit weekly reports to the Sales Manager detailing customer visits, opportunities, and territory activity.
* Participate in after-hours customer relationship building, including entertainment and networking, to strengthen client engagement and loyalty.
* Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and high ethical standards in all dealings with customers and colleagues.
About You
* 5+ years of experience in external sales, preferably with the building industry or related field.
* Relevant experience conducting business in a B2B environment.
* Knowledge of building products, flashings, and construction terminology is advantageous.
* Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
* Self‐motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while collaborating with a team. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
* Strong problem‐solving and customer service orientation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant sales tools.
