We are seeking a motivated Assistant Account Executive to join our growing insurance broking team. This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic and deadline‑driven environment and enjoys working with systems, structured processes and a high level of autonomy.
Reporting to a Senior Account Executive, you will play a key role in supporting a large and active client portfolio, delivering exceptional service across new business, renewals and ongoing policy maintenance.
About the Role:
This is a fast‑paced, high‑volume platform solution and placement role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be trusted with responsibility for your own workload, so a self‑starter mindset, accountability and a strong work ethic are essential.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Processing new business, renewals, endorsements across a high-volume portfolio
* Preparing quotations and following up with insurers and clients
* Providing day-to-day support to a Senior Account Executive
* Managing policy documentation, correspondence and invoicing
* Updating claims information and status reports
* Liaising with insurers, underwriters and internal stakeholders
* Assisting with internal dispute resolution matters in line with RG271
* Delivering responsive, professional service in line with compliance and regulatory standards
* Debtor control management
About You:
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys being busy, takes pride in getting things done correctly, and is comfortable working independently within structured systems:
* Tier 2 Insurance Broking (minimum), working towards Tier 1
* Previous experience in insurance broking or a similar administrative support role
* Strong time management skills and the ability to handle a high-volume workload
* Confidence working across multiple systems and insurer platforms
* A proactive, reliable and hard-working approach
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
* A collaborative attitude and willingness to support the wider team
