Responsibilities
* Cultivate relationships and manage volunteer leadership teams as the primary point of contact for your designated area
* Maintain the quality and consistency of service, safety, and culture throughout the services in your designated region, which includes incident and risk management
* Management & roll out of new shifts and services
* Monitor volunteer satisfaction and develop programs to ensure a great experience
* Relationship management with service providers, partner organisations, local councils, government, funders and other stakeholders as necessary to continue to promote and grow the work of Orange Sky in your region
* Identifying opportunities and gaps in service delivery and applying your subject matter expertise to addressing these
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment, ideally within the not-for-profit sector and working with a large volunteer base
* Moderate local regions and interstate travel will be required (average monthly 3-4 nights away). This is to undertake service visits, engage and celebrate, review potential new locations and to meet with current and potential new partners and service providers.
* Demonstrated experience running volunteer programs and/or leading teams
* Relevant tertiary qualifications, or equivalent experience in community services or customer services
* Outstanding interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate with a highly diverse range of people and manage a large and diverse workforce
* Well-developed written skills, problem‐solving ability and agility to learn and use new systems
* Ability to travel and work flexibly as required
* Excellent time‐management skills and the ability to manage complex and competing demands and meet deadlines
* Ability to work both independently, and within a team
* Proactive attitude, and a genuine passion for our cause
* Driver's licence and ability to drive our van to shift locations; policies in place to support travel arrangements
* Willingness to learn new processes and systems
