Description We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Transport Operator. Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of Transport services to Defence. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services. Monday-Thursday 6.30am-3.00pm. Friday 6.30am-1.00pm. $28.78 per hour. What You’ll Do (key responsibilities) This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Delivery of driver and vehicle services to support Defence Transport requirements & management of Defence fleet vehicles Washing & cleaning of both company and Defence vehicles Assisting with preparation of issue/receipt documentation on Defence loan pool vehicles Delivery and pick up of company/Defence vehicles to and from repair agencies/dealerships Drive courtesy buses/perform courtesy bus service duties ensuring a safe driving service to Defence and civilian customers What You’ll Bring (experience required) Must have a current LR (Light Rigid) Licence Must have or ability to obtain a Drivers Authority High level of understanding and commitment to Zero Harm in the Workplace Suitability for Defence Security Clearance ( Australian citizenship mandatory ) More than anything, you’ll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
