This is for a Permanent Full-Time appointment at up to 80 hours per fortnight.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the team at Marble Bar Nursing Post in Pilbara.
To be successful, you will have...
Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.Knowledge and understanding of the principles of Primary Health Care and Community Development.Broad nursing experience with recent accident and emergency skills.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a remote Aboriginal community or cross-cultural setting.Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).Demonstrated well developed problem solving and negotiation skills.Pharmacology competency or working towards same.
Position Profile
To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team within a primary healthcare framework in partnership with the community and other organisations. To provide planned, coordinated and comprehensive primary health and emergency care to families and individuals of that community.
