Your Role
As Centre Cook, you'll play a key role in creating a nurturing, healthy environment through food. You will:
* Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks
* Maintain a safe, clean, and well‐stocked kitchen
* Order supplies and manage inventory
* Communicate with educators to meet dietary needsSupport the centre's mealtime routines and assist where needed
* Be open to learning more about nutrition for different age groups, especially infants
* Hours 6:15am to 2:15pm Monday to Friday (open to discuss alternative hours for the right candidate)
About You
* A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management
* A practical understanding of food budgeting and planning
* Cooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential)
* A commitment to supporting children's growth, development, and wellbeing through food
