Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate physical therapist to join our outpatient team. As an outpatient physical therapist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of patients with physical and functional deficits, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical and functional limitations
* Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to improve patient function and mobility
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between settings
* Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, wound care, and other relevant topics
* Document patient progress and outcomes in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
* Current licensure as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
* At least one year of experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in a rehabilitation hospital or clinic
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
* Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
