About the Role
As Senior Manager – Education and Care, you will provide strategic leadership across our early education and care services. As a key leader within the organisation, you will drive educational excellence, ensure strong compliance outcomes, and support the growth and sustainability of our Early Education and Care and Out of School Hours Care services:
Bruce Ridge Early Childhood Centre
Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre
Budawang Early Learning Centre
Florey Outside School Hourse Care
Charnwood Outside School Hours Care
You will work closely with leadership teams to foster a high-performing, values-driven culture that delivers quality outcomes for children, families, and communities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing strategic vision and leadership across Early Education and Care and Out of School Hours Care programs.
Leading the establishment, expansion, and ongoing development of new services, including staffing, curriculum, and operational planning.
Overseeing compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements, including assessment and rating processes.
Driving business performance through effective financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning.
Mentoring and supporting leaders and educators to promote continuous improvement and professional growth.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, communities, and regulatory authorities.
Representing the organisation as a leader in quality education and care services..
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 5 years' senior leadership experience within the education and care sector.
Relevant Diploma or Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement processes.
Proven experience in establishing or expanding Early Education and Care and/or OSHC services (highly regarded).
Demonstrated business and commercial acumen, including strategic planning and financial management.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative, approachable leadership style that inspires, empowers, and motivates teams.
A genuine passion for high-quality, inclusive education and care and making a meaningful impact.
