Senior Contract Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to play a key role in managing and reviewing various contracts across our entities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive reviews of contracts to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
* Liaise with stakeholders as the primary contact for contract-related queries, ensuring clear and timely communication.
* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, managing the contract inbox and workflow processes to optimise efficiency, streamline operations, and ensure timely responses to queries.
* Assist in negotiations of contract terms with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring favourable terms and minimising risks for the organisation.
* Identify issues or potential risks within contract terms and propose alternative amendments that align with the organisation's legal framework and strategic objectives.
* Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, regulations and ethical business practices.
Required Skills:
* Previous experience in reviewing high-value commercial contracts, with a focus on the construction/service industry.
* Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial principles, with a proven ability to identify risks and ensure compliance.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain contractual issues and risks to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* An understanding of post-signing contract management and dispute resolution.
