The Company

Our client is an independently owned, Australian-based business operating within the global seed technology sector, servicing Australia, New Zealand and the broader Asia‑Pacific region. The business specialises in seed‑applied and seed‑improvement technologies, including polymers, coatings, treatment machinery and analytical services.

With a strong emphasis on research and development, the organisation works closely with customers to deliver tailored technical solutions that improve seed performance, efficiency and sustainability. While part of a wider international network, the business maintains a highly localised, hands‑on approach, supported by in‑house laboratory capability and technical expertise

The Opportunity

Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Business Development Asia Pacific, this role sits at the intersection of sales leadership, technical development and market strategy for the Australia/NZ markets. Responsible for driving commercial outcomes across these markets, the position plays a key role in representing seed technology solutions, developing customer relationships and leading regional sales initiatives.

The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on technical engagement, including product demonstrations, trials and collaboration with R&D. You will evaluate market opportunities, contribute to product development, and lead the execution of sales, pricing and marketing strategies aligned to broader business objectives.

About YouYou are a commercially driven, technically capable sales leader with a background in agriculture. Comfortable operating across regions and cultures, you bring credibility at both customer and industry level and enjoy working in a role that blends strategy with hands‑on delivery.

What You'll Bring:

* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in agriculture, seed technology, R&D or technical services
* Sales and marketing experience within the agricultural sector
* Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, budgets and forecasts
* Sound financial acumen with experience managing targets and commercial outcomes
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong organisational and planning capability
* Willingness to travel regionally.
