Caulfield Grammar School is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our theatre faculty as the Head. This pivotal role plays a crucial part in elevating academic achievement, inspiring teaching staff, and ensuring every student thrives in a stimulating learning environment.
* Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans, driving academic excellence across Years 7 – 12
* Lead the way in fostering a culture of curiosity, creativity, and excellence, empowering students to excel in their chosen fields
* Collaborate closely with the broader School Teaching and Learning team, Campus Head of Teaching and Learning, and other Heads of Faculty to ensure cohesive teaching practices that reflect the latest research and best practice
Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Education (postgraduate qualifications advantageous)
2. Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
3. Comprehensive teaching experience with a consistent record as an outstanding teacher
4. Proven ability to mentor and coach, building trust amongst students, parents, and staff
5. Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively manage challenging situations
6. Experience in curriculum development and assessment across multiple year levels, ensuring high academic standards
7. Demonstrated expertise in leading teams and fostering collaboration for consistent outcomes
