About the Role

As our Onboarding and Mobilisation Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of pre-employment, compliance, and mobilisation processes. Reporting directly to the Project Director, you will be the key contact for new employees, guiding them through their onboarding journey and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and certifications to thrive on our projects.

What You Will Do

While each day will bring variety, your core responsibilities will include:

* Manage end-to-end onboarding and mobilisation, including compliance checks, travel, and system tracking for new employees and contractors.
* Coordinate and deliver all required training sessions (safety, technical, compliance), ensuring personnel hold current qualifications and licenses.
* Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation, conducting audits to ensure adherence to WHS and project requirements.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing support and guidance throughout their onboarding journey.
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (e.g., subcontractors, labour hire) to ensure seamless transitions and complete documentation.
* Continuously review and improve onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and the overall new employee experience.

What You Will Bring

* Proven experience in onboarding, mobilisation, or HR coordination, ideally within the construction or resources sector.
* A strong understanding of WHS and compliance requirements in an Australian civil construction environment.
* Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* Proficiency with HRIS/mobilisation systems (e.g., INX, Damstra, Sitepass, 3D Safety) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and new hires.
* A practical understanding of blue-collar workforces, including trade qualifications and site readiness.
