About the role
We are seeking an experienced Trainer/Assessor to join our team at Intrain Assessor in Albury, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our clients in the road transport industry. We would also consider applicants that would like to have a career change and are willing to obtain the necessary qualifications.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and delivering engaging training covering a range of topics such as heavy vehicle operations, work health and safety, and regulatory compliance
* Conducting assessments to evaluate learners' competencies
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date training and assessment records
* Collaborating with the training team to continuously improve the quality of our course offerings
* Providing excellent customer service and supporting our clients throughout the training and assessment process
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as HC or MC driver. Road ranger gearbox experience essential.
* Relevant vocational qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment either TAE 40110, 40116, 41122 or willing to complete 3 selected Units of Competency from the TAE within the first month of employment.
* Strong knowledge of the road transport industry, including regulations, compliance, and safety requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
* Clean driving history and police check
