Due to continual growth we are looking to expand our amazing team and have the opportunity for an experienced, compassionate and engaging Female Disability Support Worker to join us on a permanent part time basis!
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting and supporting with group activities and community outings
* Providing in-home and community-based respite support
* Supporting participants within our respite house facility
* Assisting with personal care, light domestic duties, meal preparation, and health & wellbeing activities
* Encouraging independence and development of life skills
* Delivering engaging, structured, and meaningful support, particularly in group environments
* Actively participating in activities, including weekly swimming sessions (must be comfortable in the pool)

About you
* Experienced Female Support Worker (essential)
* Comfortable and confident in the water – happy to participate in regular swimming activities
* Demonstrated ability to engage participants and take initiative
* Patient, energetic, and able to support someone who thrives on active, hands-on engagement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work both independently and within a team
* Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
* A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Current and clear Working with Children Check
* Qualifications or experience highly desirable.
