About the Company

WCP Civil is a Western Australian civil construction company delivering profiling, rehabilitation and infrastructure works across regional and remote locations. The business operates on complex civil projects requiring structured project governance, cost control and compliance-focused administration.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Project Administrator to provide high-level administrative, financial and coordination support across civil construction projects. The role is integral to ensuring effective project planning, documentation control, cost tracking and stakeholder coordination in accordance with organisational and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

* Providing administrative support to Project Managers throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring and close-out
* Preparing, maintaining and updating project registers, schedules, reports and tracking documentation
* Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and internal stakeholders to support project delivery
* Raising purchase orders, processing and approving invoices, and establishing new suppliers in accordance with internal procurement procedures
* Supporting project cost management, including cost tracking, variation monitoring and financial reporting
* Utilising internal project management and financial systems, including Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
* Managing project documentation, work records, site access requirements, accommodation logistics and compliance records
* Completing daily project diaries and maintaining accurate records of personnel, plant, equipment and materials utilisation
* Assisting with project reporting requirements to ensure contractual, financial and operational transparency
* Ensuring documentation and records comply with company policies, contractual obligations and audit requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following mandatory criteria:

* At least a diploma degree in Project Management, Finance, Business Administration or a closely related discipline
* Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in a Project Administrator or Project Support role
* Proven experience working within the civil construction industry
* Demonstrated experience working away from home on a rostered basis
* Demonstrated capacity to work in regional or remote project environments
* Sound understanding of project cost control, financial processes and variation tracking
* High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in project management and office software systems
* Current Australian driver's licence
* Strong organisational, communication and time management skills
* A proactive, adaptable and "can-do" approach to work in fast-paced project environments

Location and Working Conditions

* The role is based in Willyung, Albany WA, with project-based travel required
* Applicants must be willing and able to work away from home on rostered civil construction projects

Remuneration

* Annual salary range of AUD $75,000 – $95,000, commensurate with skills and experience, plus statutory superannuation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
