You’ll play a key role in shaping how risk and compliance supports Westpac’s superannuation business. Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll provide clear, practical advice that helps the business make informed decisions while meeting its regulatory obligations. This role is about partnership and influence. You’ll be hands-on with risk insights, incident management and regulatory change, and you’ll help lift how risk and compliance practices operate day to day. You’ll also support governance forums and contribute to board-level reporting when needed. You’ll be joining a team focused on doing the right thing for customers, strengthening risk culture, and continuously improving how we work. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Sydney, with flexible working options available. What do I need? You’ll bring a strong foundation in risk and compliance, along with the confidence to engage and challenge constructively. To be successful, you’ll need: Experience providing risk and/or compliance advice within financial services, ideally linked to superannuation or wealth A solid understanding of regulatory obligations and how regulatory change impacts business decisions The ability to interpret risk information and turn it into meaningful insights Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in improving risk practices and culture Why join us?
