About The Role:

This leadership role is an exciting opportunity to guide a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. As the Nurse Unit Manager of a busy medical ward, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, coordinating workflows, and responding effectively to challenges. Your leadership will shape a positive workplace culture, drive continuous improvement, and uphold exceptional standards across the service.



About You:

* You are a current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
* You have proven clinical leadership experience and can guide, motivate, and support a diverse nursing team.
* You are committed to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care, even in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* You possess strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills, helping you foster a cohesive, positive team culture.
* You are confident in managing daily operations, coordinating workflows, and responding effectively to challenges.
* You adopt a collaborative approach, working seamlessly with internal teams and external services to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position.
