Base pay range: A$68,000.00 per year

About the role and about you
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Officer - Groundskeeper to join our Customers - Homes and Places team in the Metro North East Region.
To succeed, you will be a dedicated outdoor worker with enthusiasm, a personable attitude, and strong attention to detail. You take pride in high-quality work, are reliable, creative, results-focused, and physically capable. You demonstrate integrity and possess a forward-thinking mindset.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Pressure washing common areas and patching and painting bin bays.
* Maintaining grounds by trimming trees, edging, hedging, mulching, and weeding.
* Supporting waste services, bin rotations, responding to garbage chute blockages, and lawn mowing across Sydney, as needed.
You may also support the In-House Maintenance Team with minor repairs such as patching, painting, minor carpentry, and cleanup duties, especially during inclement weather. You will work as part of a team of Maintenance Officers and may be required to work at different locations.

This is a permanent full-time position based in St Leonards, Redfern, and other SGCH locations, with travel as required.
