Job Overview:
The Department of Archives and Manuscripts seeks a skilled archivist to support the Archival Management System, including ArchiveSearch, across university libraries. This role will involve working with colleagues to maintain the system, develop its use, and ensure its application meets stakeholder needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain and develop the Archival Management System, ensuring optimal use and application.
* Provide expert guidance on metadata standards and schema, supporting colleagues in metadata production.
* Collaborate with the Digital Preservation Project team to manage digital archives using the AMS.
* Support data analysis, migration, and testing for new collections and users.
* Develop procedures and guidelines for efficient workflow and team collaboration.
